Ultimate Bipolar Therapy Anxiety Mood swings Manic Depressive DBT Recovery Mental Health Planner Printable Digital Download Happy

“She was a free bird one minute: queen of the world and laughing. The next minute she would be in tears like a porcelain angel, about to teeter, fall and break. She never cried because she was afraid that something ‘would’ happen; she would cry because she feared something that could render the world more beautiful, ‘would not’ happen.” — Roman Payne, The Wanderess
“Compared to bipolar’s magic, reality seems a raw deal. It’s not just the boredom that makes recovery so difficult, it’s the slow dawning pain that comes with sanity – the realization of illness, the humiliating scenes, the blown money and friendships and confidence. Depression seems almost inevitable. The pendulum swings back from transcendence in shards, a bloody, dangerous mess. Crazy high is better than crazy low. So we gamble, dump the pills, and stick it to the control freaks and doctors. They don’t understand, we say. They just don’t get it. They’ll never be artists.” — David Lovelace, Scattershot: My Bipolar Family

I like to think of this Disorder as tantamount to music, when you are happy, the music is high, rhythmic, with heavy beats and loud! Mood is exhilarating and intoxicating, you are at the happiest of heights. And then the starkly opposite happens, devastation, the depths of despair, everything around is dark, foreboding, angry… the music is a plaintive, crying SCREAM of discordant notes. The struggles are real, the highs and lows, extremes of emotions, leading you to question your very sanity! NOT a fun place to be in! Please, if you or someone you love are feeling this, see a Doctor, meanwhile, I have created these fun and colorful 65 pages to help curb the very intensity of these emotions. You will find worksheets on Warning Signs, your Current Situation, any self mutilation, understanding and managing your stress, self-reflection, crisis prevention plans, distress tolerance activities, your support system, mood and depression trackers, daily trackers, thought challenge and patterns, flexible thinking, behaviour tracker, survival planner, coping strategies and many other good things 🙂
I realized that so many of us need this record of checks and balances to work on ourselves, and it does not become a “task” but an established pattern that gives us a guidance that is sorely needed and appreciated.
